Fall Home Decor
Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving Monday to all of you in Canada! I hope your long weekend was relaxing, full of food and family and friends. Our weekend was pretty special, spent in Collingwood with lots of social, lots of cooking (of course) and lots of time to reflect on how lucky we are.
There is no question that fall is now officially here! The temperatures plummeted to 6 degrees on Sunday morning(eep!), making it feel suddenly like fall. The change in the temperature helps put my mind on getting cozy and looking forward to the holidays. How was your weekend? Did you celebrate Thanksgiving?
I love switching up the decor in my house by the season. By October, I’m ready to add in cozy colours and textures. And because Amazon is hosting a Prime Deals Day, I’ve rounded up some of my favourite Amazon fall finds below.
Cozy Throw - I love the colour and drapped across the arm of a sofa, it instantly provides a little warmth.
Flameless Candles - I have these everywhere! I use them around the house when the sun start to set early to create a cozy feel. I also use them in my candlelight yoga classes
Elegant Napkins - setting a gorgeous autumnal table feels like self care.
Wooden bowl - this would look gorgeous piled high with shiny apples freshly picked from the orchard!
Faux stems - these capture the light so beautifully, I have them and love them.
Paris Chic Book - Not just for fall decor! This one sits on our coffee table all year long. It’s stunning.
Runner - I have this and I love it. It lives behind our island in Collingwood and provides warmth and interest in the kitchen.
Match Cloche - I was gifted one of these and I adore how it looks on our mantle. It’s almost too pretty to use!
Wooden links - these are versatile and add a little bit of texture that just suits the fall feels.
Hey There Pumpkin Door Mat - just a tiny bit of cutesy Halloween can go a long way in sparking joy!
Salt and Pepper jars - I bought these and love them.
Bone Inlay Decorative box - Our holds all the autumnal essential oils next to our diffuser. It’s beautiful.
While I always look to see what I have on hand, I am a big fan of adding or swapping out a few decor items seasonally. I find that bowls, faux stems, and cozy throws go a long way in creating a really warm and wonderful fall feel.
How do you like to decorate when the seasons change? Do you go crazy for Halloween? Should I do a round up of chick Halloween decor?
