Halloween Roundup

Are you Team Halloween?

I am sad to admit that I am not. Halloween is my least favourite holiday. But it’s actually not me…I can get behind just about anything, but my kids were never interested. I was always that mom, nagging the kids to tell me what they wanted to dress up as, and they were entirely apathetic about it. They want the candy but don’t want to put any effort into it!

We are not that house on the street that pulls out the Halloween decor on the 1st of October… I’m more likely to drag it out (by myself, no one interested in helping) a couple of days before the 31st, so that I don’t live with the guilt of being THAT house on the street - you know….the dark one where the grumpy old lady lives? And then just as quickly on November 1st, I am that neighbour sweeping all the tangled cob webs and rotting pumpkins away to make room for my favourite holiday: Christmas! Christmas is something that I can get behind!

Halloween Decor

As a food blogger, I should be relishing in this time to bring all sorts of inspired content! Just think how easy it would be….The skeleton charcuterie boards! The spooky cocktails! The cute little rice crispy frankensteins! But I just … can’t.

I would much rather provide you with an easy, make ahead meal that you can get on the table the night of Halloween so that you don’t have added chaos to the night.

Or even better? Bring you a roundup of easy and last minute Halloween decor items that you can plop down outside your door to feel like you have done enough!

I’ve been collecting said items in my Amazon Storefront.
