The Lemon Summer Shandy

a refreshing summer shandy in a tall, frosted glass made from non-alcoholic Carona beer and lemonade on a railing in the summer

This Lemon Shandy is the most refreshing mocktail of summer! A shandy is simply a mix of beer and lemonade and epitomizes summertime. A shandy is a little similar to a Radler. Making your own at home is a simple as it gets.

Why You’ll Love This Summer Mocktail

Making a Shandy at home couldn’t be easier! Grab your favourite non-alcoholic beer (or alcoholic if you prefer!) and mix equal parts beer and lemonade in a frosted glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel and let it transport you poolside under the summer sun!

You can customize your shandy using grapefruit juice or cranberry juice instead of lemonade.

The original shandy dates back to Britain in the 19th century and was made from a mix of beer and ginger ale.

Ingredients Needed for this Lemon Shandy

Beer - grab your favourite brand. It does not need to be non-alcoholic. My favourite right now is Corona’s Sunbrew.

Lemonade - I bought store bought but feel free to squeeze a few lemons!

A chilled beer stein - this just keeps your shandy super cold and so refreshing. It’s optional, but I would recommend!

Lemons for garnish!
