Apple Pie Puff Pastry Popovers

This Apple Turnover Recipe doesn’t get any easier!     Are you looking for an easy fall treat?  Not only are these super fast to whip together, they are incredibly delicious and perfect for the fall baking season.

Apple Pie Puff Pastry Pop-Overs

Ingredients:

Puff Pastry sheets

2 apples, peeled

Honey

Cinnamon

Vanilla ice cream

1 egg (for egg wash)

Powdered sugar

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400F.   Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Drizzle honey in a little section that is approx 2” x 3” square, approx 1.5-2 tbsp in each section.

  3. Layer 6-8 apple slices on top of the honey.

  4. Drizzle with another light layer of honey and sprinkle with cinnamon. 

  5. Cut your pastry sheet into 4 sections and lay them on top of your apples.

  6. Seal the edges to the parchment paper and press gently on the apples.   

  7. Brush with egg wash and bake for 20 mins. 

  8. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before flipping them over and dusting with powdered sugar and more cinnamon.
