How to stay balanced with Green Giant Restaurant Sides
This time of year feels particularly overwhelming. Do you feel that too? My calendar is jammed and it’s all I can do to keep my head on straight. I was so glad to be introduced to Green Giant’s new Restaurant Vegetable Side Dishes that have chef-inspired sauces all built in, and ready to go! There are 5 new flavours that I can keep in my freezer and turn to on those chaotic nights when I feel overwhelmed. The sides are delicious and easy prepare in less than 10 minutes.
I made the Glazed Carrots with Honey, Brown Sugar and Sage Butter that I served alongside my flank steak. As you can only imagine, my kids gladly devoured the carrots. They were delicious! For Fraser and I, I added the Spring Veggies, Brown Rice & Quinoa with Garlic Basil Sauce as a side dish and it was so lovely to create a balanced meal in minutes with such little effort.
How to prepare Green Giant Restaurant Sides
These vegetable side dishes come ready to go! No chopping or measuring or extra ingredients needed! Each flavour comes complete with chef-inspired sauces all built in, making them an ideal side dish to any meal. All you need to do is heat up your skillet, add your favourite flavour and cover to heat through. In less than 10 minutes, you will have created a perfectly tender vegetable side. Just serve and dig in!

Here is how I would serve them:
Glazed Carrots with Honey, Brown Sugar and Sage Butter - I would serve these with my flank steak…it was a perfect pairing!
Roasted Root Vegetables with Garlic & Thyme - Try this alongside a Whole Roasted Chicken. You can put the chicken in the oven and forget about it. 10 minutes before serving, just warm through the Roasted Root Vegetables with Garlic & Thyme! If that’s too daunting, just grab a rotisserie chicken! There is no judgment on that!
Asparagus, Roasted Red Potatoes & Onions with Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper - this would be perfect with either my Lemon Butter Skewers or perhaps this Lemon Chicken Piccata recipe.
Broccoli Spinach Florentine, Brown Rice & Quinoa with Parmesan & Romano Sauce - this one is perfect for a light lunch or dinner all on its own!
Spring Veggies, Brown Rice & Quinoa with Garlic Basil Sauce - this also is an easy lunch. You could fry an egg to go with it.
