Easiest Ramen Noodle Salad
My kids LOVE ramen. Me? Not so much…
I have finally found a way to serve ramen that the whole family can get behind!
This salad is a texture lover’s dream come true with flavours exploding every which way! #Trust.
So much tang, so much crunch, so addicting and so much happiness around the dinner table!
Easiest Ramen Noodle Salad
Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter
2 pkgs beef Ramen Noodles (I’m sure any would be good here), crushed
1 cup chopped green onion
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1 bag of pre-shredded cabbage mix (or do it yourself if you prefer)
Dressing
1/3 cup olive oil
3 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup rice vinegar
Directions:
Heat a medium saucepan over med-high heat. Melt the butter and add in the ramen noodles, almonds and green onions. Allow them to brown slightly and then add in the beef seasoning mix.
Toss your cabbage into a bowl with the noodle mixture and the dressing.
This sits nicely for a bit of time, so you can allow it to ‘marinate’ for a while or serve it right away!
