Homemade Bagels (gluten free)
I think we can all agree that there is nothing more satisfying than a really good, fresh and chewy toasted bagel. Since exploring gluten free for my eldest daughter, the options when it comes to anything ‘bread’ are dismal at best!
When I saw a bread recipe for super easy bagels and thought - let’s make these gluten free….and the result was amazing!
They are so simple and bake up in 30 mins. You can customize your flavours to whatever you have on hand. Here are a few options for you to ponder:
Everything Bagels
Sesame Seed Bagel
Poppy Seed Bagels
Blueberry Bagels
Cinnamon Raisin Bagels
Chocolate Chip Bagels
Cheese Bagels
Garlic Bagels
The possibilities are endless with this easy gluten-free bagel recipe.
Homemade Bagels

2 cups your favourite gluten-free flour (or regular flour)
1 ½ cup Greek yogurt
1 egg (for an egg wash)
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt (optional)
1-2 tbsp water, if needed
Everything bagel seasoning
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°
Combine all ingredients except for the egg and seasoning in a large bowl and mix until a thick dough forms.
Form into balls and place on a nonstick baking sheet. Use your finger to create holes in each bagel.
In a separate bowl, scramble an egg and use a brush to cover each bagel lightly. Then add everything bagel seasoning as desired.
Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes & enjoy!
